スペインの量子ソフトウェア企業Multiverse Computing（マルチバース・コンピューティング）は、資金調達シリーズAラウンドで2,500万ユーロ（約40億円*）を調達した。Columbus Venture Partners（コロンバス・ベンチャー・パートナーズ）とQuantonation（クアントネーション）が主導し、欧州イノベーション・カウンシル・ファンドやRedstone QAI Quantum Fund（レッドストーンQAI量子ファンド）など、さまざまな投資家が参加した。

2021年初にフランスのマクロン大統領が発表した量子技術へのフランス国家の５ヵ年投資戦略。 ５年で総額18億ユーロ（約2,900億円*）を投資するというもの。毎年2億ユーロ（約320億円*）ずつ、合計10億ユーロ（約1,600億円*）を量子企業やプロジェクトに投資し、残る8億ユーロ（約1,280億円*）を業界全体やEUに対して投資する。

Multiverse Computing, a leading European quantum software company, has successfully raised €25 million ($27M USD) in Series A funding. The investment round, oversubscribed, was led by Columbus Venture Partners and Quantonation Ventures, with contributions from various other investors including the European Innovation Council Fund and Redstone QAI Quantum Fund. This funding will be utilized to advance the development of Multiverse’s proprietary quantum and quantum-inspired algorithms and software, including their flagship product Singularity and the recently launched LLM compressor, CompactifAI.
